For over two decades, Kalimpong Animal Shelter, a unit of Darjeeling Goodwill Animal Shelter (DGAS), has been diligently conducting Animal Birth Control (ABC) and Anti-Rabies Vaccination programs for stray dogs in Kalimpong and its vicinity. Our services extend beyond strays to include pet animals, rescue operations, and various community animal welfare initiatives.
Given that the Kalimpong Animal Shelter was established long ago, it is imperative that we prioritize the maintenance of our existing facilities, such as the clinic, kennels, fencing, and other infrastructure. Additionally, we must also focus on expanding our facilities to accommodate the growing needs of our community and the animals we serve.
